Edward Leon (Lee) Williams

 

Edward "Lee" Williams passed away peacefully on December 29, 2025 in Graham, Washington, surrounded by the love of those who knew him best. He is survived by his three children: Edward Williams Jr., Andrea (Howard) Goakey, and Morgan (Brooks) Laurentino; his cherished grandchildren Ashley, Skeet, Andrew, Canon, Riley, and Khlo'e; and his great-grandchildren, Ryker and Emma.

Lee was raised in the Kingsport, Tennessee area until he enlisted in the U.S. Army. After his service, he settled in Washington where he met his first wife Dianne and welcomed his first two children, Ed Jr. and Andi. He later met his second wife Shannon, and together they moved to Georgia where they would raise his youngest daughter, Morgan.

While in Georgia, Lee became a proud and active member of the Yaarab Shrine, serving as President of the Golf Association, President of the Arab Guard, and as a "Road Runner," a role he treasured as he transported children to and from the hospitals where they received treatment. He was also a proud Mason and member of Kennesaw Lodge #33 F.A.M., and served as an Advisory Board member for the International Order of Rainbow for Girls in the state of Georgia.

Lee devoted countless hours to serving food for those in need at the Seven Bridges shelter, preparing meals for various church groups, and always making it a point to be of service to others whenever he possibly could.

​

In honor of Lee's selflessly giving spirit, the family asks that those wishing to celebrate his memory consider a donation to Shriners Hospitals for Children, an organization that was deeply important to him and to which he contributed immeasurably through his lifelong passion for volunteering and service. In doing so, his legacy of compassion and generosity will continue to touch lives, just as he did throughout his own.
