Pastor Ricky Lowe was born in Alamance County North Carolina in July of 1980. At the age of fifteen years old, he accepted Christ after a revival service at Piedmont Baptist Church. At the age of twenty-one, Pastor Lowe sensed God was calling him into full-time Christian service and surrendered his life to God’s complete use. Upon this decision, he enrolled into Bible Institute through the local church.

 

In 2010 after serving in two independent Baptist churches, Pastor Lowe and his family took a step of faith and moved to Southern California to attend West Coast Baptist College and Lancaster Baptist Church. He graduated in 2013, and one year later, in August of 2014, he was called to pastor Mountain Highway Baptist Church.

 

God has blessed him with a beautiful wife and five children whom he loves dearly. Pastor Lowe is driven by a passion to help people begin and develop a relationship with Jesus Christ. During the past two years, many people in the Spanaway and surrounding area have been helped by the various ministries of MHBC. Pastor Lowe has a vision for revival and to reach the entire community for Christ.

Jack and Ajana met at West Coast Baptist College, and got married shortly after graduating in May of 2019. They served at a church in Portland for about a year, and near the end of their time there, they felt that God was leading them to move on to another ministry. 

After much prayer and counsel from family and mentors, God made it clear that he was leading them to serve at Mountain Highway Baptist Church in the music ministry and other areas. Jack also teaches junior high and high school at Bethel Baptist Christian School, while Ajana teaches private music lessons in their home.
 

It is their desire to show what a real relationship with Christ means and to share the joy of genuine worship with the church and community.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       

Michael Topasna was born in Long Beach, CA. Through the efforts of Cornerstone Baptist Church in San Diego, Michael started to attend church faithfully when he was 17. On a whim, and at the suggestion of the Pastor in San Diego, Michael attended West Coast Baptist College, where he realized his need for a Savior. In the prayer closet of Heritage I dormitory, he accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior. 

 

Michael married Hercilia Topasna on June 7th, 2014, and continued to attend Lancaster Baptist Church. After staying in Lancaster for several years, God called Michael, and his wife Hercilia, to move to Spanaway Washington to serve at Mountain Highway Baptist Church as the Music Director from August 2017 - December 2018. 

 

Currently, Mike serves as the Children’s Director and Youth Pastor for MHBC with his wife and his three children: Miko, Luna, and Koa. He enjoys working with the children and teens helping them to grow spiritually. He is excited about the things God has already done here at Mountain Highway and is looking forward to the future of the church, as the church continues to reach this world for Christ.
